Community Service

What Community Service projects are available?

The SWFQG is very proud of our Community Service Program and its many accomplishments.

Annually our guild donates more than 350 quilts and blankets to a wide variety of organizations in our community. A lot of love is stitched into every quilt we send into our community. Our donated quilts have snuggled newborn babies, cuddled Head Start preschoolers, comforted hospital-bound children, brought joy to veterans, and warmed laps of countless cancer and hospice clients.

There is a home for every donated quilt or blanket. When a need is made known to us, our quilters invariably come through with flying colors. Stop by the Community Service table at every meeting to learn more or pick up a kit to make your donation
