The Community Service Committee represents a core value of our Guild. The committee provides an outlet for Guild Members to share their creativity, time, materials, talent, and commitment in support of community organizations and agencies that serve those in need.
NICU Blankets
Golisano Children’s Hospital has requested a special size of NICU blankets sized 27”x33” specifically for the bottom of incubators, (known to the hospital as Leo blankets).
Pre-washed flannel to flannel or flannel to cotton, no batting. Stitch RST leaving opening to turn, turn right side out, stitch opening closed and topstitch edge. Stitch lines in a X or large grid just to keep layers together.

BABY – 36″x42″
LAP/WHEELCHAIR – 36×55″ or 45″x48″
TODDLER – 42″x42″ up to 45″x55″
QUILTS OF VALOR – 55″65″ up to 72″x90″ (See Robin)

Keep in mind most quilts go to kids or are used as lap quilts over wheelchairs.
