Creativity Meets Tradition
The Southwest Florida Quilters Guild, Inc., is a nonprofit organization, devoted to promoting the art and heritage of quilting, was formed in 1992 and has over 170 members. Many of us are year-round residents, but our tropical climate attracts people from all over and we have a diverse membership with new people joining us all the time. We encourage you to come join us too!
Purpose of the Guild
- Preserve the heritage of quilting
- Be a source of information and inspiration for Quilters
- Encourage excellence in quilting
- Be of service to the community
- Provide fellowship to people with a common interest
The Guild is ready to help by providing:
- Information at the monthly meetings,
- Monthly Saturday Fun Days where Guild members share their talents,
- Classes led by professional instructors,
- Retreats where you can dedicate your entire day (and evening) to quilting.
