The Opportunity quilt team has completed the quilt top and it is spectacular!
I want to thank Judy Sherman at PJ’s Quilt and Longarm Studio for being so gracious to have us use her wonderful classroom for all days we worked there. Everyone on the Team was extremely talented in helping us figure out how to complete this challenging quilt which came with not so clear instructions.
We have asked for written submittals for quilting the project to be submitted by July 1. Once we have reviewed them, we will award the project to the person who best presented to us how they would quilt it. We have already ordered backing, batting and binding.
When we have the quilt 100% done by September, we will show it to you. I believe this quilt shall raise a lot of money. Finished size is 80 x 80.
